Vovulo terms and conditions

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and SikeProductions ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of Vovulo — the real-time word battle mobile application ("the App").

These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use Vovulo
• If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf
• You must not be barred from receiving services under applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements

Your Account

To use Vovulo, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
• Choose a username that is not offensive, impersonating, or misleading
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, use offensive usernames, or engage in abusive behaviour, without prior notice.

Gameplay Rules

Vovulo is a fair-play environment. When participating in word battles, you agree to:

• Play honestly without using external tools, bots, scripts, or third-party software to gain an advantage
• Not exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics
• Not manipulate room codes or matchmaking systems
• Respect the outcome of games — score manipulation is prohibited
• Not deliberately disconnect to avoid a loss

Violation of fair play rules may result in score resets, coin forfeiture, or permanent account termination.

Virtual Items & Coins

Vovulo includes a virtual currency system ("Coins") and virtual items available in the in-app Shop.

• Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or real goods
• Coins are earned through gameplay, tasks, and watching rewarded ads
• Virtual items purchased or earned are licensed to you, not sold — they remain our property
• We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or remove virtual items and coin values at any time
• Virtual items are non-transferable and tied to your account
• We are not responsible for any loss of virtual items due to account termination or technical issues

Advertising

Vovulo displays advertisements through Google AdMob, including rewarded video ads and banner ads.

• You may earn Coins by voluntarily watching rewarded video ads, subject to a daily limit
• Ad availability is not guaranteed — we are not liable if ads fail to load
• You agree not to attempt to manipulate ad systems or simulate ad views to earn Coins fraudulently
• Third-party ad content is not controlled by us — we are not responsible for the content of advertisements

User Conduct

When using Vovulo — including the chat and friends features — you agree not to:

• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or flood the chat
• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other players
• Share offensive, hateful, racist, sexist, or abusive content
• Share personal information of other users without consent
• Impersonate other users, celebrities, or SikeProductions staff
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban, at our sole discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content within Vovulo — including but not limited to the name "Vovulo", game design, graphics, UI, sounds, code, and all associated branding — is the exclusive intellectual property of SikeProductions.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial use
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any App content
• You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent

User-Generated Content

You may submit content to the App including your display name, tagline, profile picture, and chat messages ("User Content").

• You retain ownership of your User Content
• By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and process it solely to operate the App
• You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm it does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms

Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to Vovulo at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
• Extended inactivity
• Discontinuation of the App

You may also delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account within the App. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Upon termination, your licence to use the App is revoked and all virtual items and Coins are forfeited with no compensation.

Disclaimers

Vovulo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We do not warrant the accuracy of leaderboard data, scores, or task completion records
• We are not responsible for data loss due to technical failures
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without liability

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SikeProductions and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Loss of virtual items, Coins, or progress
• Unauthorised access to your account
• Any conduct of other users
• Any bugs, errors, or interruptions in service

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Karnataka, India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via the App or email.

Your continued use of Vovulo after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.
